It’s exciting!In the role of Director, Sales for Government and Non-Profit Accounts, you will be responsible for leading large, complex sales engagements across our portfolio of NielsenIQ measurement solutions to our existing and new government clients, and for expanding the business across this client sector. This role will pioneer the development of commercial strategies to renew and achieve new business, building meaningful client relationships, and ultimately closing deals. The successful candidate will join an expanding team of 30+ high performing and high energy associates. This fast-paced team is excited to have a new member join our group to build on the momentum we have established and deliver against lofty but attainable growth goals.Responsibilities include:Leading commercial strategy and sales of NielsenIQ’s measurement solutions to North American state and federal civilian government agencies and non-profitsAchieving sales and strategic objectives by clearly articulating NielsenIQ’s value proposition and use cases to decision makers specific to the product portfolio of responsibilityBuilding meaningful relationships with client stakeholders and teamsRepresenting the voice of the customer to internal product development, product marketing, communications and delivery teamsWorking collaboratively with other product sales leads & cross functional partnersAchieving sales quota consistent with NielsenIQ margin goals and delivery expectationsGenerate sales leads and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities across a portfolio of government clients consistent with NielsenIQ’s growth strategyAccurately forecasting the sales pipeline, areas of growth, areas of risk and prioritize to close sales consistent with sales cycle normsWeaving client specific insights, industry material and thought leadership information into client conversations to build context and clarity to the outcomes our solutions can deliverOwning cross functional relationships and being a subject matter expert for your accounts and partners in a fast-paced environmentA Little Bit About YouYou have an entrepreneurial mindset and take satisfaction in achieving individual and team goals.
