Overview of RoleHeretic Ventures is seeking its first Category Manager to join an early stage generative AI consumer business that Heretic Ventures is launching.The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, analytical generalist grounded in merchandising. S/he has had 5+ years of merchandising experience and a MBA. This individual will own revenue, consumer experience and net promoter score in their category, and will play a large role in the company’s success.This is a unique opportunity to help reshape the consumer landscape and build a billion-dollar company from the ground up while deeply learning about AI and learning from a stable of powerful and experienced mentors and advisors.This is a hybrid role with the preference for 4 days per week in-person in our sunny Presidio, SF office. There is significant international and domestic travel involved in this role.
