Development Director

Create and maintain development strategies, establish strong relationships in the community, and lead our fundraising initiatives. Responsibilities of the position include community outreach and partnership building, fundraising initiatives, sponsorship development, corporate and private fundraising, capital campaign, grant writing, as well as hosting events that support and enhance the objectives of the mission. Additional Areas of Responsibility:  The ideal candidate will have a background in nonprofit fundraising, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to advancing women’s health and the well-being of diverse families. Other Information/Requirements:  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field OR equivalent years of work experience serving in a similar position• 3+ years of experience working with a nonprofit: fundraising, community outreach, business development• Has a passion for the Dar a Luz mission as well as women’s health, an appreciation for the life-changing work that the birth center offers, and is able to educate and excite others about the DAL impact How to Apply:  Interested in learning more, joining our dedicated team, and sharing our story?
