JOB OVERVIEW
Soko Glam is seeking a Director of Brand Marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in beauty marketing, specifically on the brand side, with at least 12 years of experience and 5 years of leadership experience. They will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to energize our community, platform, and social media, with a focus on increasing brand awareness. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a dynamic brand strategy and supportive global, cross-channel marketing calendar, owning and managing insights-driven creative and marketing briefs, leading go-to-market plans for new product launches, campaigns and activations, and driving approach and process to guarantee high impact and effective speed to market for all campaigns and marketing content.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and lead a high-performing team of channel experts and marketing strategists, overseeing various levels of experience across brand, creative, social media, and influencer marketing team members.Develop and implement a dynamic brand strategy and supportive global, cross-channel marketing calendar.Own and manage insights-driven creative and marketing briefs, ensuring high impact and effective speed to market for all campaigns and marketing content.Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns, go-to-market plans, and activations for new products.Develop and execute positioning and messaging for the brand and its products.Identify clear audience strategies to evolve and grow the customer base.Increase brand awareness in both existing and new markets.Create programs that drive customer loyalty and increase brand trust.Lead the development of programs and consumer research to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, brand health, and brand sentiment.Utilize consumer insights and data to inform brand strategy, tactics, and social media content development.Lead the development and execution of consumer research to inform brand strategy and tactics.Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with brand objectives and drives engagement.Monitor and analyze social media trends and performance metrics to inform social media strategy and content development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of campaigns and initiatives.Identify and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
12+ years of experience in beauty marketing, specifically on the brand side.5+ years of leadership experience.Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand marketing campaigns.Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.Experience managing budgets and external partnerships.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.Passion for the beauty industry and staying up-to-date on market trends.Experience managing a high-performing team.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000-$165,000 in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The exact salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the location, complexity and scope of the role as well as the skills, education, credentials and experience or training of the candidate. Our recruiting team will be happy to elaborate more on the specifics of the salary range for you during the hiring process.
