Director of Strategic Financial PlanningThe Director of Strategic Finance reports to the CFO and is responsible for managing the financial planning and analysis processes across the organization. This role will lead and mentor a dedicated team of professionals to evolve Gibson’s FP&A capabilities, processes, and tools. This is a hands-on and highly visible role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will interact regularly with all C-Level leaders, the extended leadership team and the Board of Directors. Key areas of focus and responsibility include strategic/long-range planning, capital allocation modeling, development and execution of agile financial planning processes (budgeting and forecast) all supported by insightful reporting and analytics to help drive a culture of performance at Gibson. Key initiatives include:Improved reporting and analytics on product gross margin and brand/category gross margin and forward margin planning along with working capital targeting, reporting and managementFormalized capital planning process across Gibson including post implementation reviewsDevelop the team to support key initiatives as well as aligning responsibilities in order to improve support of the end-to-end businessDevelop and deploy tools to improve accuracy and efficiency in planning and reporting activitiesEssential FunctionsManage a team of analysts for preparation of monthly financial reporting package(s) for the Executive leadership team, Operations management, and the Board of Directors including timely and insightful analytics and actions to drive outcomesCross-functional development, analysis, and reporting of annual operating budget, including top-level review, compilation, and guidance for the global organizationSupport performance culture by partnering across functions to establish meaningful financial metrics and goals for measuring performance with a focus on improvement actionsLead role in continued development of planning and reporting tools (OneStream, Salesforce forecasting, Power BI, etc.)Manages the enterprise capital allocation strategy by working cross-functionally to understand capital needs, impacts on ROIC and drives scenario modeling to align capital allocation decisions with overall Gibson strategyClose coordination with Accounting and Operations Controlling on topics including financial reporting, sales and margin planning, operating expense planning, etc.Develop efficient dynamic monthly rolling forecast process to improve financial visibilityShort-term cash flow forecasting Support preparation of Board of Director, Shareholder, and Lender meeting materialsRequired Skills/AbilitiesMust have experience leading complex enterprise planning processes in a global organization including multi-entity, multi-currency preferably in a limited risk distributor modelHigh aptitude for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysisExperience in consumer products, private equity portfolio company and manufacturing environment preferredFinancial modeling to identify value creation opportunities in existing businesses and modeling of new business opportunities Proven ability to work cross functionally in a leadership capacityAdvanced experience with financial planning tools and extensive ERP knowledge (Power BI, OneStream Planning, and/or Hyperion, Microsoft Dynamics 365)Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful analysis for non-technical audiencesGAAP knowledge and accounting experience is advantageous to this role.Project management skills and experience a plus Education and ExperienceBA/BS degree or equivalent Finance/Accounting/Business; CPA/MAcc/MSF/MBA a plus 10+ years of experience in progressive roles in FP&A Prior experience with advanced financial planning tools and ERP systemsOffice and Manufacturing locationsTravel RequirementsPeriodic travel to and between manufacturing locations and foreign subsidiaries may be requiredPhysical DemandsBasic physical stances and actions (sitting, standing, walking)We celebrate diversity and Gibson Brands, Inc is an Equal Opportunity employer.SIGN UP FOR EPIPHONE NEWS & SPECIAL OFFERSCopyright 2023 Gibson Brands, Inc.
