This role will be key to establishing VISA as a leader in the payments industry and enable you to shape the future of payment services. Building upon our open banking offering you will have the ability to create a market leading A2A payments product to offer to a wide range of customers and use cases (e.g. account funding, crypto off- and on-ramp, commerce, and many more). You are most likely already market leading expert in A2A or open banking payments and are excited about taking on a mission to challenge the industry and build a new generation of payment services.You will be responsible for forming the product and strategic agenda for our A2A payments offering in the US, making you a key part in our success. You will define required product components, how to deliver the required components (including decisions around buy vs build vs partner), establish your own product and engineering organization as well as collaborate with the broader organization and external partners to deliver the solution. A key part of the role will be to work closely with our senior commercial leadership to bring the product to market and support day-to-day activities as we scale the US product organization. The goal is to create the leading A2A payment product in the market where you will have the full ownership of taking the product from 0 to functional product, which gives you the opportunity to define what the future of payments can look like.Our product portfolio is ever expanding, and product innovation comes from connecting our customers with our product strategy and offering. As A2A Payment Product lead you will be the key person in making this happen for Payments within our US Expansion.ResponsibilitiesYou will develop product strategy for our fully managed A2A payments solution offering for the US marketYou will drive key decisions on product initiatives within the Payments spaceYou will build, grow and lead the US payments product organization from scratchYou will lead and manage a growing organization consisting of Engineering Managers, Product Managers and engineering teams to ensure the scaling, and set the long-term vision for the US Payments functionYou will define and evaluate key results and performance metrics that measures the success of our Payments productsYou will be responsible for developing and execution of the commercial strategy for the A2A payment product together with the rest of the open banking leadership team, as well as sales leadershipCollaborate with SVP Product (global function) and US Open banking Connectivity and Product leadership to leverage existing platforms and productsYou will play a vital role and be a highly influential part of making A2A and open banking in the US successful by not only serving as the Payments expert, but by contributing to the overall senior leadership team within the divisionThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Basic Qualifications•You have 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD)•You have a deep understanding and knowledge of the payments space and market•You have experience from a high growth technology company or financial services industry•You have a track record of success and a demonstrated ability to build new and complex products from ground up•You possess a high level of professionalism and leadership skills to build business relationships, trust and respect with business partners and suppliers•You are a strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities, secure buy-in and identify issues as well as solutions accordingly•You take prompt, decisive action after analyzing relevant information•You are accustomed to collaborating with and influence broad set of stakeholders across various functions spanning from sales to engineering•Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to a broad audience in an approachable way•Strategic mindset and proven experience from creating and execution of product driven strategyPreferred Qualifications•12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD) is preferred•You have prior experience from building and managing A2A payments building upon e.g. ACH or RTP rails•Several years of experience from managing budgets and strategic prioritization for a large product area in a high growth technology company•Leader with a track record of hiring, building and scaling product and engineering teams•Experience in commercialization and strategic development to take a new set of payment products from 0 to functional products Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.
