This convenient, eco-friendly alternative to driving has the potential to make streets safer and cities more livable.About The RoleNuro is looking for an experienced business development leader who will source, evaluate, and close business opportunities while developing relationships with key partners who are excited to leverage Nuro’s autonomy capabilities.Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will work cross-functionally across engineering, product, strategy, finance, and operations teams to execute our go to market strategy while maintaining a deep understanding of Nuro’s products and capabilities.About The WorkEvaluate and develop high-ROI strategic partnerships using rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysisDeliver compelling presentations and lead technical demonstrations of our autonomous solutions to potential new partners and customersLead deal sourcing, negotiations, and execution, as well as own implementation and post-contract success of the partnershipLead strategic and complex negotiations to completion, engaging cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment across teams on deal termsWork extensively with internal engineering and product teams to align product roadmap and strategy with customer needsAssess market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviors to shape commercial strategies.You will be measured by your ability to (1) drive revenue (2) influence product roadmap to develop novel revenue streams and (3) evolve our partnership ecosystemAbout You12+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, partner management, or similar roles at a technology or automotive companyDemonstrated history of creatively structuring and closing $XXM deals with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliersAbility to negotiate and execute short and long-term deals and enterprise partnershipsProven track record of driving high-value partnershipsDeep knowledge of business, strategy, product, finance, and legal concepts to inform complex, multi-faceted dealsExperience collaborating closely with internal and external engineering teamsAnalytical mindset and track record of using data to inform strategyDefault to using data to make decisionsExceptional verbal and written communications skillsThrive in a fast-paced environment with high ambiguity and competing prioritiesBonus PointsHands-on experience with autonomous vehicle hardware/software stackStart-up experienceAt Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected base pay range is between $222,775 and $333,925 for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
