Head of Content

Position Summary:
CircleBlack is looking for an exceptional senior content marketer with particular strength in technical product marketing to lead our company’s content and communications efforts. We view content as a central pillar of our go-to-market and product strategies and we are looking for someone who can own content development and execution end to end.

Own the company’s visual and written communications for both GTM and corporate functions, including but not limited to – investors, demand generation, customer, product, partnerships, and brand governance
Build a detailed understanding of our target Financial Advisor persona, including personal and professional objectives, challenges, and pain points
Become an expert in our company’s product and understanding how it alleviates our target persona’s pain and supports their personal and professional objectives
Develop, execute, and own a comprehensive and high quality content roadmap that speaks to these items, including

Weekly blog posts and monthly customer stories
Foundational / evergreen content pieces that demonstrate our knowledge and expertise to the market
Regular website updates that describe our product’s capabilities and value delivered to customers
Knowledge base articles that describe our product’s key features & functionality
Onboarding materials, including guides embedded into our product’s user experience
Bi-weekly product release notes that describe to our customers and the market the capabilities released each sprint
Webinar content for use in regular webinars hosted by our sales and product teams
Sales enablement materials to be used by our sales team during prospecting process

Develop customer insights, market trends, and competitor intelligence and circulate these insights to internal teams
Become a key intermediary between product, technology, sales, customer success, and market stakeholders
Own content-specific OKRs that support business outcomes


5-10 years experience in a technical product marketing role for a B2B SaaS business
Previous experience with developing and executing a content roadmap with positive demonstratable outcomes
Deep intellectual curiosity with ability to quickly come up to speed on new market and product
Excellent writing skills and a demonstrated track record of delivering high quality content pieces
Experience with market and competitive analysis
