The person will work within a very strong development/operations team and help to enhance the product thus helping the organization to improve overall Change management process. The person will interact with various teams so that the product can be integrated with ongoing Continuous Delivery/Automation efforts across various business units.Role Summary & Role DescriptionTo drive, contribute and lead a team of developers with best-in-industry ServiceNow development skills and capabilities. Ideal candidate will need to have atleast 5 years of hands on development capabilities with a flair for leading solutioning, design & implementation in ServiceNow platformUnderstand Requirements, Propose solution and Implement to stakeholder satisfactionResponsible for reviewing requirements to ensure that they are provided in enough detail to be accurately estimatedHands on expertise required in Change Management modules apart from having worked in other modules such as Incident, Problem of latest version of Service nowDesign, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, technical solutions, such as client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, scheduled jobs, import sets and transform maps, ACLs, API and notificationsDevelop new and maintain existing custom scoped applications within ServiceNow including integrations with other applicationsStrong knowledge of ITIL (preferably V4), IT Change Management (Application and/or Infrastructure) , systems development process, SDLC methodologies (Agile is a plus)Create and use update sets to move customizations between ServiceNow instancesCommit to the continuous improvement and learning of development and ServiceNow best practices, tools and technologyDevelop new and maintain existing custom scoped applications within ServiceNow including integrations with other applicationsA minimum of Bachelor degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or any branch of Science, Engineering or TechnologyA Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in IT in the areas of Applications and/or Infrastructure development, maintenance, support using various technology and databasesProvide advanced troubleshooting support, implementing bug fixes and root cause analysisCore/Must have skillsServiceNow Development skills ( San Diego Version )API Integration skillsGood to have skillsExcellent communicationAbility to lead and coach a team of diverse skill developersWork ScheduleHybridKeywords (If any)SNOW, ServiceNow, Developer, API, SDLC, JIRAWhy this role is important to usOur technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients.
