Book tests, labs, x-rays, and medical appointments* Assist the MDs in making rounds and preparing charts for MD signatures* Check meal tray for accuracy* Directly supervise CNAs* Perform all treatments and assessments as required* Perform resident admissions and discharges* Notify MD/NP of any changes in resident status* Notify family members/HCP of changes in treatment status* Documentation/nurses notes* Responsible for updating care plans* Answers to nurse managers*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** Able to lift up to fifty pounds.* Able to push/pull forty pounds.* Able to stand for up to four (4) hours per day.* Able to bend, squat, and stoop to floor level.* Able to kneel.* Able to walk.* Able to reach heights of up to four and one-half feet.* Able to see and hear with or without prostheses* Able to move intermittently* Able to cope with physical and mental job stress*REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES** Ability to recognize changes in the condition of residents and to take action required.* Able to read, write, and speak in English in a legible and understandable manner.* Current CPR/AED Certification*EDUCATION*Licensed in the State of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
