We currently have exciting opportunities for *Part Time RN Supervisor *positions.*Schedule Details** Part Time – 6:30pm – 7:00am*Job Responsibilities:** Provide nursing care according to physician orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.* Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to residents and assist in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.* Make rounds with physicians, assist in examinations and/or treatment of residents and carry out orders.* Ability to assess residents and notify attending physician and responsible parties in the event of a change in a resident’s condition.* Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of nursing care, respond to changes in medical condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs, and perform first aid as required.* Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned staff and other designated personnel in meeting the residents’ needs. Demonstrate good decision making skills. Provide written evaluation and oral counseling of assigned staff.* Ensure appropriateness of resident admission to the facility.* Ensure residents’ rights are protected.* Identify and promote correction of problems in service provision or poor quality of resident care.* Assist with efforts to assess, plan, and evaluate staff development needs.*Requirements:** Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred.* Two years of experience working as a registered nurse including some medical/surgical experience and awareness of the needs of geriatric residents.* Knowledge of Federal and State regulations, as well as OBRA laws.* Ability to supervise and coordinate nursing staff.
