The VP is an integral member of the senior leadership team and serves as the chief business and financial officer, reporting directly to the CEO. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership to the organization, managing complex finance transactions, the budget management process, and guide ongoing change management processes. Functions reporting to this position include finance, people and culture, business operations, and legal.+ Position ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead the execution of strategy for respective portfolio of functions.Work across the organization to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide financial information, and manage contract/grant compliance and reporting.Serve as the executive liaison to the board of directors audit committee.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial operations including accounts payable and receivable functions, purchasing, financial reporting, and grants administration.Improve administrative and operational accounting services such as grants management and reporting, payroll, accounts payable, and purchasing.Oversee all aspects of people & culture (e.g., employee relations, recruiting, benefits, training)Lead business operations, comprising contracts, compliance, proposal management, corporate events, and facility.Continuously measure and evaluate organizational performance and make changes as necessary.Upgrade and implement an appropriate system of policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures.Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.Provide analytical support to internal management team including development of internal management reporting capabilities.+ Position RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, required.
