We sponsor the development of landmark projects that provide innovative energy solutions. We also offer flexible, partnership capital to infrastructure companies to help fund capital expenditure, business expansions and acquisitions. Examples of recent investments include Wavecrest Energy, which focuses on developing LNG projects globally, and Aerogy, our sustainable fuels platform that is primarily focused on the development of renewable natural gas projects. We also develop large-scale projects such as Gulf Coast Ammonia, the largest ammonia plant in North America.As part of the team, you will work closely with Transaction Directors to structure, negotiate, and close complex transactions (including equity, debt and hybrid structures) as well as conduct or commission and review due diligence to identify potential risks and value drivers. You will engage and lead due diligence advisors (legal, technical, tax & accounting) and prepare internal investment presentations for required approvals. You will also be responsible for leading and training analysts and associates on the team who will assist in the analysis of investment opportunities.The role will primarily focus on principal investing combined with infrastructure development, and investment syndication. You will bring a strong origination and execution background in energy infrastructure investments (particularly related to conventional and renewable power, battery storage, charging infrastructure, renewable fuels such as hydrogen, ammonia, RNG, renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel, midstream infrastructure, and carbon capture), from either an industry or investment banking/private equity background, and have strong commercial acumen, numeracy capability and negotiation skills. You will ideally also have an understanding of tax credit monetization including tax equity structuring.To be successful in this role, you will have at least 6 years investing, industry, M&A or corporate finance experience in a relevant organization with detailed knowledge of infrastructure markets, principles of financial analysis and valuation and financial modelling, and deal structuring. In addition, you will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. It is essential that you are fluent in both spoken and written English, with a strong communication and relationship building skills.This is a key role within the team, where self-motivation and drive, exceptional communication, organisational skills, and the ability to perform in a demanding, fast paced environment will see you thrive. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
