Using a strand of hair, our biochemical sequencing platform maps the dynamic molecular patterns of an individual’s unique biological response to environmental exposures. We develop novel biomarkers and diagnostics for clinical and drug development use with medical conditions that historically have had no objective measures to predict, diagnose, or characterize them. Our program pipeline includes CNS conditions (autism spectrum disorder, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, schizophrenia) and gastrointestinal disorders (inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic esophagitis).
Job Description
We are seeking a Director, Software Product Management to lead the software design and development process for commercial software at Linus Bio. Our software will enable health care providers to order our current and future laboratory tests and receive results for their patients in both traditional and telehealth settings. The role includes responsibilities for software integration with other internal and external systems, such as the company’s billing and CRM systems and clients’ EMR systems. This role requires working cross-functionally to prioritize features and ensure that the software that is released provides an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities

Lead the full software product life cycle from ideation to launch to the next iteration.
Develop and manage the software product roadmap.
Collaborate with the marketing team to understand market and competitive conditions and create a software product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demand.
Define user needs and product requirements and manage the development and enhancement of features through the software product development process. Work cross functionally with engineering, data science, customer care, regulatory, marketing, and other SMEs.
Contribute to business and commercialization strategy
Based on the company’s needs, build a strong Product organization by hiring a highly effective, motivated team.

Requirements

B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent in a technical or business field.
M.S./MBA/post-secondary education preferred.
10+ years related experience in a diagnostic, medtech or biotech company
Experience working in a regulated environment
Successful track record developing and launching software products
Understand high-level software architectural designs and work with technical stakeholders to make critical trade-offs. Balance short-term needs with long-term and/or strategic consideration of opportunity costs, throwaway work and maintenance work.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to understand and work with different audiences.
