But here’s the formal process: In-person (preferred) or video interview with Arndt (co-founder and CTO) We’ll be looking for a good first vibe here – would we love to hang out with you, find you interesting, think you’d fit into the team. Lunch with Christian (co-founder and CEO) and Arndt Let the fun begin! You’ll have to pick a place and time, we just show up and pay. This will give us a really good first personal impression of you, the things you think and obsess over, and why you are interested in joining us. Video interview with Carmen (our designer and first hire) Carmen will want to know how you can work with product and design. It helps to bring examples of previous things you’ve built. Technical challenge (take-home) At this point, you are ready… for the big test. We’ll have two things for you to implement… which one will you choose? How will you approach this? What questions will you ask? This should not take more than a day of tinkering on the side. Paid trial period (2 weeks) We’ll pay you as if you were fully employed, and you’ll become part of the team. Nothing beats actually working together… so why not just work together for a short period of time. Not used to this process? Neither are we, but you’ll be the most important hire we’ll make.
