Business Development Representative

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team! The Business Development Rep will help drive growth and forge lasting relationships with the world's largest brands. In this role, you will be responsible for generating B2B leads in the tech, software, finance and fintech space, building a pipeline, tracking industry activity, and helping us close new business deals. Additionally, you should positively contribute to making Invisible North’s culture an envy of the industry; where great people with great vibes make great work, every day. While our main office is located in DUMBO Brooklyn, we work as a distributed team with members reaching from Maine to LA, and everywhere in between. This position is full-time, remote or hybrid (NYC), and should expect to work on ET hours.

Roles + Responsibilities

Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients reporting to IN's Head of Business Development
Consistently meet and exceed defined quarterly and annual individual revenue quotas through proactive deal closing and pipeline execution
Possess strong knowledge of the B2B experiential space and have the ability to determine the viability of a client
Bring an established network of senior-level brand contacts within key target industries (tech, finance, fintech) to immediately surface new revenue opportunities
Support CMO’s sales efforts with communication, scheduling, and preparation of presentation materials
Proactively target, approach, and close business with key brand targets
Manage our CRM, Newsletters, and Sales Prospecting software programs

Skills + Qualifications

3+ years sales experience
BA/BS degree, preferably in communications, marketing, advertising, or related
Knowledge of client/agency relationship landscape in the event marketing space
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
Superior written and verbal communication skills
A natural networker with an outgoing and professional personality
Passion for the experiential marketing business
Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to grow business through a mix of cold outreach and relationship development
Extremely organized & excellent time management
Able to successfully work remotely during EST hours, or from our NYC office if desired

Compensation

Full Time salary: 90,000/yr - 110,000/yr
