Our client seeks experienced hinging professional for full time work in artist's studio. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of art hinging, its materials and methods, and at least two years’ experience in the practice.RESPONSIBILITIES:Safely hinge artwork of varying sizes/weights to backing substratesHelp with occasional studio projects and deliveries of supplies as needed (must be able to lift 40 lbs).REQUIREMENTS:Strong knowledge of hinging skill sets (pastes and adhesives; cutting/tearing hinges; application methods; conservation and art safety methods)Team player with a positive, enthusiastic attitudeWillingness to learn specific methods to standard; open mindedKnowledge of art safety best practicesWilling to work overtime as seasonal schedule requiresWORK SCHEDULE:This is a full time, on-site role, Monday - Friday, approx. 35-40 hours weekly.
