Location/Schedule: Port Washington, Long Island – In office five days per week.
Base Salary: Approximately $155,000, plus a discretionary annual performance bonus.
Practice: Plaintiff-Side Personal Injury Litigation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage plaintiff personal injury cases through litigation and resolution.
Meet and communicate regularly with clients.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses.
Conduct and defend depositions.
Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations and settlement conferences.
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
Prepare cases for trial and second-seat experienced trial attorney.
Attend regular file reviews and case-valuation meetings.
Work closely with an assigned paralegal and the firm’s support staff.
Handle automobile accident, trip-and-fall, premises-liability, Labor Law, New York State negligence and occasional medical-malpractice matters.
Practice primarily in Nassau County and the New York City boroughs, with occasional appearances in Suffolk and Westchester Counties.
