About Happy MediumHappy Medium exists to create and curate the best supplies, content and events for casual artists. There's a lot out there for kids and capital "A" Artists, but not much for those who fall somewhere in between. We're on a mission to fill the gap. We want a world where more people feel emboldened to make things with their hands, just for the hell of it, because the real thrill lies in the making. Our pottery production team makes ceramics in-house at our Williamsburg studio: the cast pieces in our gift sets and kits, products for our gift shops, and custom pieces for brand partners. The roleThe Pottery Production Assistant is a hands-on, full-time role making ceramics at volume. You'll cast, clean, glaze, fire and pack pieces to a consistent standard, batch after batch. We get a lot of applications and can't reply to everyone, but we'll reach out if it looks like a fit.Happy Medium is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and inclusion at every level of our business, and we welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences and identities.
