About Cultural Counsel
Cultural Counsel is a leading strategic communications consultancy working at the intersection of art, architecture, design, entertainment, philanthropy, and tech. Since its founding in 2015, the firm has earned a strong reputation for strategy and campaigns on behalf of the cultural sector's most respected institutions. Its clients span museums, foundations, biennials and triennials, art fairs, galleries, and civic cultural agencies, as well as artists and designers working independently. Over the past decade, we have successfully represented projects on behalf of A24, the Prada Foundation, the Whitney Museum of American Art, Red Bull Arts, Kickstarter, and Netflix; this fall season we are proud to support the Morgan Library, NADA, the Pérez Art Museum Miami, Pioneer Works, and dozens more dynamic campaigns.
The team includes journalists, artists, musicians, and curators alongside seasoned communications professionals, giving the firm strong industry relationships and a firsthand understanding of the culture it represents. We work collaboratively across every account: team members are encouraged to bring their own ideas to the table, supported by the structure, mentorship, and growth opportunities needed to build a career.
We prioritize a healthy work-life balance and offer a flexible, hybrid work model. A cultural benefits stipend covers museum memberships and special events, and team members regularly receive access to VIP openings and industry events around the city, keeping the firm closely connected to the community it represents. Joining Cultural Counsel means contributing directly to the exhibitions, launches, and programs that define the cultural field.
