The Supermarket Associate helps keep a busy retail food store running smoothly by supporting customers, maintaining stocked and organized aisles, and assisting with daily front- and back-of-house tasks. Typical duties include rotating merchandise, checking expiration dates, facing shelves, retrieving carts or baskets, answering basic customer questions, and helping with bagging or register support when needed. The role also involves keeping work areas clean, following store procedures, and communicating issues such as low inventory or spills to the appropriate supervisor. Candidates should have reliable attendance, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced customer service setting. Prior grocery or retail experience is helpful but not required. Physical demands may include standing for long periods, lifting moderate loads, bending, and moving product throughout the shift. This part-time position follows a neutral schedule that may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
