Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a vibrant environment. The Barback will support bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized while providing excellent customer service. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of operations during busy shifts and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
Assist bartenders with drink preparation and service during high-volume periods.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the bar is adequately stocked.
Bus tables and clear empty glasses or plates from the bar area to maintain a tidy environment.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs promptly.
Assist with food preparation for bar snacks or small plates when necessary.
Skills
Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic work environment.
Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food handling practices.
Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred.
Background in food service or catering is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Experience in bussing tables and serving in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
Knowledge of kitchen operations or hotel experience can enhance performance in this role.

Compensation
