Drivers may also verify shipment details, obtain required signatures when needed, and communicate promptly about delays, damaged items, or address issues. Basic qualifications typically include a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, the ability to follow route directions, and comfort using navigation tools and handheld devices. Prior delivery, courier, or route-driving experience is helpful but not always required.
