This Delivery Driver role supports timely pickup and delivery of goods throughout the New York City area, with a focus on safe driving, accurate order handling, and courteous customer service. Typical duties include loading and unloading items, checking deliveries against manifests or work orders, following assigned routes, obtaining proof of delivery when required, and reporting delays, vehicle concerns, or delivery discrepancies to the appropriate team. The position also involves maintaining a clean and organized vehicle and observing traffic laws and safe operating practices at all times.

Basic qualifications usually include a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, the ability to read maps or use navigation tools, and experience working independently with minimal supervision. Candidates should be able to lift and carry packages of varying weights, bend, twist, and spend much of the day standing, walking, and entering or exiting a vehicle.
