The dishwasher supports daily kitchen operations by keeping dishes, utensils, cookware, and service items clean and ready for use. Typical duties include loading and unloading dish machines, washing items by hand when needed, sorting clean supplies, and maintaining orderly dish and storage areas. The role may also involve basic kitchen cleanup, taking out trash, restocking cleaning materials, and helping the team keep work surfaces sanitary. Candidates should be dependable, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food service environment. Prior experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is helpful but not required. Basic awareness of food safety and sanitation practices is important. This position can involve standing for long periods, lifting moderate weights, and moving quickly during busy meal periods. The schedule is part time and may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Compensation may be negotiated within the posted range based on relevant experience.
