Driver Helper

The Driver Helper supports deliveries and pickups throughout Manhattan by assisting the driver with loading, unloading, and moving items to and from the vehicle. This role helps keep routes on schedule by organizing stops, verifying packages or materials, and communicating clearly with the driver and customers when needed. Typical duties may include carrying items safely, securing cargo, checking delivery paperwork, and maintaining a clean work area inside the truck. Basic qualifications usually include the ability to follow directions, work well as part of a team, and lift or move moderate to heavy items repeatedly during the shift. Previous warehouse, delivery, or general labor experience is helpful but not always required. The work can involve standing, walking, bending, and climbing in and out of vehicles over the course of the day. Schedule is full time and may include early starts, daytime hours, or occasional overtime based on route needs. Compensation may be negotiated within the posted range based on relevant experience.
