The Driver Helper supports delivery and pickup operations throughout Manhattan by assisting the driver with loading, unloading, and organizing packages or materials for transport. This role helps ensure items are handled safely, moved efficiently, and delivered to the correct locations while maintaining a professional presence in customer-facing settings. Typical duties include carrying freight, checking labels, securing loads, keeping the vehicle area orderly, and assisting with route-related tasks as directed. Basic qualifications usually include the ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, work well in a team, and maintain reliable attendance. Candidates should be prepared for frequent lifting, bending, climbing in and out of vehicles, and walking or standing for extended periods. A valid driver’s license is not assumed for this position. The schedule is full time and may include early starts, daytime hours, or other route-based shifts depending on operational needs. Compensation may be negotiated within the posted range based on relevant experience.
