A Home Health Aide provides supportive care to clients in their homes and helps them maintain comfort, safety, and daily routines. Typical duties may include assisting with personal care, light housekeeping related to the client’s immediate needs, meal preparation, medication reminders, and helping with basic mobility or transfers as directed. The role often involves observing changes in condition and promptly reporting concerns to the appropriate supervisor or care coordinator. Candidates should have prior experience in home care, elder care, or a similar support role, along with the ability to follow care instructions, communicate clearly, and maintain confidentiality. Basic reading, writing, and documentation skills are important, and completion of any required state training or certification is expected when applicable. Physical demands can include standing, bending, lifting, and assisting with movement. This is a full-time position with a schedule that may include weekdays, weekends, evenings, or rotating assignments depending on client needs. Compensation may be negotiated within the posted range based on relevant experience.
