Inventory Associate

The Inventory Associate helps maintain accurate stock records and organized product flow in a Queens location. Core responsibilities usually include receiving shipments, checking items against packing lists, labeling and sorting merchandise, updating inventory counts, and moving products to designated storage or sales areas. The work may also involve cycle counts, spotting discrepancies, rotating stock, and keeping aisles or backroom spaces orderly and safe. Attention to detail, basic reading and counting skills, and the ability to follow inventory procedures are essential. Previous warehouse, stockroom, or retail inventory experience is useful, but candidates who can learn systems quickly and work reliably are often considered. Physical demands commonly include standing for long periods, lifting or carrying moderate weights, bending, reaching, and using hand trucks or similar equipment as needed. Work hours are generally scheduled to support full-time coverage and may include early, late, or weekend shifts depending on operational requirements.
