Moving Helper

The Moving Helper assists with residential and commercial moves in the Staten Island area. Typical duties include loading and unloading furniture and boxes, wrapping and protecting items, carrying supplies, assembling or disassembling basic furniture when directed, and helping keep the truck or work area orderly. The position requires careful handling of property, good communication with team members, and the ability to follow directions from a crew lead or driver. Candidates should have a steady work ethic, basic problem-solving skills, and the physical stamina to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy items throughout the day. Climbing stairs, working in varied weather, and standing, bending, or walking for long periods are common aspects of the job. The schedule is full time and may include morning, afternoon, or weekend assignments based on move schedules. Compensation may be negotiated within the posted range based on relevant experience.
