The Moving Helper supports residential and commercial moves by loading, unloading, carrying, and protecting furniture, boxes, and other household items. Daily responsibilities may include wrapping items, securing belongings for transport, placing goods in the correct rooms, and helping keep trucks or work areas orderly. The position requires careful handling of property, good teamwork, and attention to instructions from the crew lead or driver. Candidates should be dependable, comfortable working in a physically active environment, and able to follow safety practices while using dollies, straps, blankets, and similar moving equipment. Basic customer service skills are useful, since the job often involves direct interaction with clients during pickup and delivery. Previous moving, warehouse, or labor experience is helpful but not required. Physical demands commonly include lifting, carrying, climbing stairs, bending, and extended periods of standing and walking.
