This Order Picker role supports warehouse operations by selecting, staging, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced distribution environment in Staten Island. Typical duties include locating inventory with handheld scanning equipment, reading pick lists, checking item counts, placing products on pallets or in carts, and keeping work areas organized and safe. The position may also involve reporting shortages, following inventory procedures, and helping maintain accurate order flow throughout the day. Candidates should have basic reading and counting skills, the ability to follow instructions, and some prior experience in warehouse, stockroom, or fulfillment work is helpful but not always required. Regular lifting, bending, standing, and walking are customary in this role, along with the ability to move packages up to standard warehouse weights. This is a full-time position with a schedule that may include weekdays, weekends, or early and evening shifts depending on operational needs. Compensation may be negotiated within the posted range based on relevant experience.
