Package Delivery Drivers are responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering parcels throughout assigned routes in Staten Island and surrounding New York City areas. The role requires careful attention to delivery instructions, safe driving practices, and efficient route management to complete stops on time. Typical duties include loading and unloading packages, verifying shipment details, scanning or recording deliveries, obtaining proof of delivery when required, and communicating delays or exceptions in a professional manner. Drivers also help maintain vehicle cleanliness and report basic maintenance concerns or safety issues promptly. A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to follow traffic laws and company procedures are expected. Candidates should be able to lift and carry packages of varying sizes, walk short distances between stops, and work in changing weather conditions. The schedule is full time and may include early mornings, daytime hours, evenings, or weekends depending on route needs.
