Package Delivery Driver

The Package Delivery Driver is responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering parcels throughout assigned Staten Island routes in a safe and timely manner. Typical duties include loading and unloading packages, verifying delivery information, following route instructions, obtaining proof of delivery when required, and maintaining accurate records of completed stops and any delivery exceptions. The role also involves performing routine vehicle checks, keeping the cargo area organized, and communicating professionally with dispatch or supervisors about delays, route changes, or customer concerns. Qualified candidates should have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, the ability to navigate local streets efficiently, and basic reading and math skills for handling delivery documentation. Prior driving or courier experience is helpful. Physical demands may include repeated lifting, carrying, bending, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and working in varying weather conditions. The schedule is full time and may include early mornings, daytime hours, evenings, or occasional weekend work depending on route needs.
