Sales Associate / Inventory Manager

We are growing and looking to add a new sales associate / inventory manager to our team. Please note this is a combined role, not two separate roles. The candidate must live in the New York City area and be able to travel to Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and SoHo, Manhattan. From November onward, the position will be based in SoHo. The position is 3-4 days a week, and the candidate must be available on Saturdays.Sales AssociateThe sales associate welcomes customers and walks them through the Dunton Ellerkamp collection. The associate must feel comfortable interacting with members of the general public and acting as an informed and helpful point of contact for customers. The role requires availability Thursday - Saturday with the opportunity for additional hours as needed.The candidate is expected to communicate in a warm, professional manner that reflects the ethos of the brand. The sales associate meets with customers on a walk-in and appointment basis. In addition to supporting in-person sales, the candidate will assist with online sales and virtual appointments. The role assists in fulfilling online orders and meets privately with customers virtually.The candidate must have an intermediate level of familiarity with jewelry and / or luxury sales with enthusiasm for the field of jewelry. The candidate should feel comfortable selling both entry-level silver pieces and more expensive gold pieces.The sales associate is also tasked with maintaining the showroom in good working order and merchandising jewelry alongside the owner. The candidate should have familiarity with CRM and POS systems.Inventory ManagerThe inventory management portion of the position works in tandem with the production team to ensure healthy stock levels of product. The role requires familiarity with inventory tracking systems and an adept attention to detail to ensure inventory is up to date across in-store and web platforms.
