Waiter / Waitress supports guest service and table operations in a Bronx dining setting. The position generally includes welcoming customers, presenting menus, taking accurate food and drink orders, delivering items promptly, refilling beverages, checking guest satisfaction, and processing payments. Additional tasks may include setting and resetting tables, communicating special requests to the kitchen, and helping maintain a neat and efficient dining room. Qualified candidates should have a courteous demeanor, good memory, basic math skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience in table service is useful, but the ability to learn procedures and provide consistent customer care is equally important. Physical demands may involve standing and walking throughout the shift, carrying service trays, and bending or reaching as needed in normal restaurant work. This is a full-time role with a schedule that may vary based on business needs and peak dining hours. Compensation may be negotiated within the posted range based on relevant experience.
