Typical duties include greeting customers, presenting menus, taking accurate food and beverage orders, entering orders promptly, delivering items to tables, checking on guest needs, and handling basic side work such as resetting tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in the service area. The position also requires coordinating with hosts, kitchen staff, and management to keep service moving smoothly during busy periods. Candidates should have prior restaurant or customer service experience, strong communication skills, good memory, and the ability to stay organized under pressure. Basic math for checks and cash handling is helpful. This job may involve standing and walking for long periods, carrying trays, and lifting light-to-moderate items. Compensation may be negotiated within the posted range based on relevant experience. Schedule is full time and may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
