Warehouse Worker needed in a busy Queens distribution setting to help keep merchandise moving accurately and on time. This role commonly includes unloading deliveries, sorting and storing inventory, preparing outgoing shipments, staging pallets, and maintaining orderly aisles and work areas. Workers may also verify item counts, scan labels, report damaged goods, and assist with cycle counts or other inventory tasks as assigned. Basic qualifications usually include the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work cooperatively with others, and maintain a steady pace in a fast-moving environment. Prior warehouse or material-handling experience is helpful, though many employers provide on-the-job training. The work may involve standing for long periods, walking throughout the shift, bending, lifting, and moving packages or materials using hand tools or warehouse equipment as permitted.
