Moving Helper

A Moving Helper supports residential and commercial relocations throughout Staten Island and nearby New York City areas. This role helps prepare items for transport, load and unload boxes and furniture, and assist with basic placement at the destination. Typical duties include wrapping and protecting belongings, carrying items safely, organizing trucks or work areas, and following directions from the lead mover or supervisor to keep jobs moving efficiently. Basic qualifications include the ability to lift and carry heavy objects repeatedly, work well in a team, follow instructions, and maintain a professional attitude with customers. Prior moving, warehouse, delivery, or labor experience is helpful but not always required when a candidate can learn quickly and work safely. Physical demands are customary for this type of work and may include frequent bending, lifting, climbing stairs, and extended periods of standing and walking. Schedule is full time and may include varying start times depending on job assignments. Compensation may be negotiated within the posted range based on relevant experience.
